This course teaches how to implement practices from the Classroom Management Inventory. This tool is designed for self-assessment of universal behavior management practices in educational settings. It presents ten key areas, each with practical examples, for teachers to evaluate whether specific strategies are not in place, partially in place, or in place.

The inventory covers essential aspects such as defining and reinforcing behavior expectations, establishing accountability systems, implementing consistent classroom routines, optimizing the physical arrangement of the classroom, and providing active supervision. Furthermore, it addresses pedagogical approaches like offering frequent opportunities to respond, prioritizing academic engaged time, utilizing differentiated instruction, and varying learning modalities to enhance student engagement and learning.
